Terms & Conditions

  • Availability

We cannot guarantee a space for every child. Places are offered on a first come, first served basis, therefore we encourage parents/teachers/managers to register early. Students who are already using our services at the time we break for the academic holidays will be given priority to continue on to the next upcoming trimester.

  • Payments

Payments must be made in full at the time of registration, prior to the commencement of each period. Deposits are not accepted. Students who have not paid in advance will not be allowed to attend the class. Payments can be made in cash or by bank transfer. Parents are responsible for ensuring payments for each 8-week period are made in advance and before the given deadline. An administration fee of £5 will be charged to each student for late payments, and the student may lose the opportunity to take part in our services in the future. For outstanding payments, Spanish for Kids may refer the matter to a legal representative or recovery agency. In any given case the parent will be liable to cover all associated fees and cost.

  • Cancellations

In the event of unexpected circumstances, Spanish for Kids reserve the right to cancel lessons at short notice. Parents/students/managers will be contacted and informed as soon as possible. If you no longer require our services and wish to cancel, please advise us as soon as possible so that this can be taken by other students. Cancellations of individual sessions or blocks made by the client or student are non-refundable and the student may lose the opportunity to take part in our services in the future.

  • Refunds

Spanish for Kids will refund their clients in the event a class or block of sessions was cancelled by the company. No refunds will be issued if a student decides to cancel or not attend a class for any reason, and nor can lessons missed be carried forward into the following session. Any special case for a refund request can be made in writing and this will be reconsidered by the management team.

  • Exclusion

We promote good behaviour throughout our sessions. Spanish for Kids has the right to exclude any child, without refund, should they cause any disruption to the learning sessions or present themselves as a risk to themselves, other students or a member of staff. Spanish for Kids reserves the right to exclude the child with immediate effect and without notice. At management’s discretion, a student with difficult behaviour may be offered three warnings before exclusion depending on the severity of the child’s conduct.

  • Responsibility

It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to ensure the student’s safety, if children are left unsupervised this will be at the parent/guardian own discretion. Spanish for kids will not be held responsible for the welfare of any child. Although we will try our best to ensure child safety at all times, our staff are unable to monitor all children during drop off and pick up times. If a child is left unsupervised by the parent\guardian during our session; we advise that the parent/guardian must be ready for pickup at least 5 minutes prior to the end of the session.

  • Sessions

Our sessions run over the course of an 8-week period, of 1 hour sessions per week.
